Munson Williams Proctor Institute

This museum features 19th century & modern art and holds the famous Thomas Cole, Voyage of Life paintings. It also hosts films, year round preforming art events for all ages and an arts festival every summer.

Madison-Bouckville Antique Festival

This Bouckville festival is the largest antiques show in New York state and is less than 10 miles from Blueberry Brooke. It happens the third weekend in August. If you’re not in town for the festival visit Bouckville and browse its generous selection of year round antique shops.

Hamilton College

Founded in 1793 and occupying 1,350 acres, this picturesque private liberal arts school, in nearby Clinton, NY, holds cultural events, including films, theater, talks, galleries and musical events throughout the school season and offers its beautiful grounds for walking all year.

Colgate University

With buildings dating from 1827,  campus grounds where hillsides meet lakes and swans meet ducks, and event listings that rival those of towns many times the size of Hamilton, one is sure to find a lovely balance of quiet beauty and enriching culture at this nearby university.

Utica Brewery

Over a century old, this family run Saranac brewery offers year round hands-on tours, an 1888 Tavern and sponsors Thursday night concerts in nearby Utica all Summer.

Berry Hill Book Shop

This bookshop is a historic barn filled with over 65,000 used and new hardcover books, including many rare and out of print volumes, children’s books, classics and art books, all at unbelievably good prices. This is a treasure shop for any book lover and is less than 2 miles from Blueberry Brooke. Walk there on the trail that was once the tow path along the Chittenango Canal and make an afternoon of it.

National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum

Perfect for baseball lovers young and young at heart, this museum tells the story of baseball and its greatest players, from the beginning of the sport, though present, using over 38,000 artifacts. It also includes a research library and the actual Hall of Fame, all in beautiful historic Cooperstown, just an hour’s drive from Blueberry Brooke.

Featuring beautifully maintained walking trails, streams, forests and inspiring flower gardens, all a part of  nearby Hamilton College’s breathtaking campus.

A wedding site that delivers both pastoral beauty and quiet elegance. Less than three miles from Blueberry Brooke.

With 6 miles of labelled trails traversing meadows, forests, wetlands and farms, this 600 acre nature conserve is a wonderful spot for enjoying wildlife and nature in every season.

Fine dining in a casual yet elegant atmosphere. Featuring inspired dishes based on culinary classics and local produce this highly reviewed restaurant is only ten minutes from Blueberry Brooke

Horned Dorset

Chef Aaron Wratten offers acclaimed traditional French preparations combining restaurant grown organic fruits and vegetables, and local meats, poultry and cheeses. The Horned Dorset in Leonardsville offers world class cuisine for both public and private dining.

Clinton Farmer’s Market

Every Thursday, from early June through October, local craftspeople offer everything from homemade soaps and hand thrown mugs to fresh baked bread and fresh cut flowers on the village green in nearby Clinton.
